For those of you that have children, know someone that has children or know a deployed service member with kids, please read on.

A good friend and neighbor of mine, Gary S. is an active duty Navy Seal soon to retire and has launched his children's book writing career. He has spent many years in harm's way away from his son and has since written a series of children's books currently in print and sold in Base Exchanges nationwide, soon to be worldwide. The first book, "Never Far Apart" addresses the issue of a deployed father, his son and the challenge of separation.

Help a fellow service member this Christmas, share Gary's story with those that have similar situations and through this book let the children know they're not alone.

[Children's books about nature]

The children's book writing career is a good idea for the kids. It will improve them as they grow older. This is a good advise for all kids and hope a lot will also promote the book writing for children.
